I have yet to ever purchase broccoli rabe… maybe I don’t know what I am looking for at the store!?  I make this with broccoli florets and it has good flavor.

My Grams is no longer on earth, but my family continues to enjoy this casserole on holidays in her honor.  We had it just about anytime we ate together at her home… and it had to be served in the famous corn bowl (a yellow ceramic bowl that looks like corn stalks line the sides).  Grams gave me the corn bowl for my wedding and I love having it as a part of family get-togethers in my home!
